Stylized 3D Moss Models

For this project, I focused on creating two stylized 3D models of moss using Blender 4.12. The models are designed with accuracy in mind, reflecting the intricate texture and natural distribution of moss. The setup includes a particle system to handle the spread of the moss and custom shaders to achieve a realistic appearance.

Both models are built with a high level of detail, containing 323,838 polygons each, without subdivision. I've provided a breakdown of the polygonal structure and a timelapse video showcasing the entire modeling process - from setting up the base mesh to applying textures.

Textures are created using a PBR workflow, with 4096x4096 pixel resolution for the diffuse, roughness, and normal maps, all derived from original photographs. The models are scaled in centimeters, with one model measuring 32 cm in height, 64 cm in width, and 71 cm in length.
